Festive Circus Day at the nursery

In line with “The Circus” topic we have arrange a special and exciting Circus day on October 13, 2016. Our little stars at Learning Ladder Nursery in JLT, received a visit from Lola the clown and were entertained with a variety of circus games, balloon bending and face painting. After our eventful morning we end our day with an all-time favourite movie, Dumbo.

Winter Camp 2015

Join us from December 20 – 31, 2015 for our wide variety of winter wonderland activities to develop new skills and make new friends in JUMEIRAH LAKE TOWERS.

Our winter camp program has a fantastic creative blend of age-appropriate activities for 1-6 year olds. It includes art & craft, dance & movement, drama, physical play and a lot more. The aim is to make sure every day every child gets individual attention and enjoy our Winter Wonderland activities with their new friends.

Our Camp will run from December 20 – 31, 2015 at the following competitive rates:

Morning Camp: 8:00-12:30 AED120 per day | AED 500 per week

Half Day Camp: 8:00-2:00 AED150 per day  | AED 600 per week

Full Day Care: 8:00-5:30 AED200 per day    | AED 900 per week

Martyr’s Day and UAE National Day Celebrations

The nursery will be closed on Tuesday, December 1, 2015* to Thursday, December 3, 2015* (to be confirmed).

National Day (Arabic: اليوم الوطني‎; Yawm al watani) is celebrated on December 2 each year in the United Arab Emirates. It marks the UAE’s formal nationalization from the British Protectorate Treaties which ended on December 1, 1971 and the eventual, federal unification of the seven emirates in 1971 which combined to form the modern-day country, headed by Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the federation’s first president. Grand celebrations are held across the country to mark the event. In celebration of this auspicious event we invite all children and staff to come dress in colors of the UAE flag on Sunday, November 29, 2015.

Parent Teacher Meeting

On Wednesday, November 25, 2015 and Thursday, November 26, 2015 our classroom teacher will be available for Parent Teacher Meetings. The purpose of PTM’s are to supply feedback to the parents on the progress of their child’s development and to discuss any concerns they may have. Timetables will be available at the classroom doors to sign up for a preferred timeslot with the classroom teacher.


Ball Skills

At our nursery, On Monday, November 23, 2015 we will start with our first Ball Skills activity for the term. Coach Ramon will conduct the activity to teach our Daisy and Bluebells Class the fundamentals of different sports in a fun, non-competitive, team-based environment.


World Children’s Day

On Thursday, November 19, 2015 we will celebrate World Children’s Day at Learning Ladder Nursery.

Feild Trip

On Wednesday, November 16, 2015 (Nursery in Cluster Q) and Tuesday, November 17, 2015 (Nursery in Cluster V) our little stars in the Daisy and Bluebells class can look forward to a trip to the Umm Suqeim Beach & Park. More information will follow soon.


Diwali

On Wednesday, November 11, 2015 we will celebrate Diwali at Learning Ladder Nursery. Diwali (or Deepavali, the “festival of lights”) is an ancient Hindu festival celebrated in autumn (northern hemisphere) every year. Diwali is the biggest and the brightest festival in India. The festival spiritually signifies the victory of light over darkness and will be celebrated internally with a variety of decorations and arts and craft activities.


Photo Day

On Wednesday, November 4, 2015 we welcome our photographer and his team of Prêt-a-portrait to Learning Ladder Nursery to capture those big smiles for our classroom on Photo Day. All children are required to come dressed in their Learning Ladder Nursery uniform for the day. Please ensure on time arrival at the nursery as the photo session will start at 08:30 sharp.
